Responsibilities
As a member of the Management Committee and head of a team of around 30 people, you will contribute to the company's global strategy, and be responsible for technical innovation and the deployment of technologies adapted to the development and efficiency of the business. In addition, your primary objective will be to lead a transformation plan to make IT a better lever for the Group's business development, while limiting costs.
As such, your main tasks will focus on several areas:
- Co-construct the IS master plan with the CODIR, based on business challenges and existing systems, draw up the target architecture for the information system and build the 2-year transformation plan. Note that this transformation plan will undoubtedly require a shift from a "100% make" policy to a "buy" policy, at least in part,
- Rebuild and restructure a single IT organization to serve the Group's various entities,
- Reinstate a collaborative and constructive dynamic between IT and the business,
- Manage IT transformation projects ("the build") at every stage (scoping, call for tenders, implementation, change management), following a roadmap regularly shared with the CODIR,
- Manage IT implementation projects for each customer/offer, maintaining a high level of responsiveness (a key element for business) and customer satisfaction, while ensuring that the IS is not rerouted, and striving as far as possible to industrialize deployments (by identifying common trunks, etc.),
- Structure and manage the "run", in particular support activities for internal users and external customers, with the aim of maximizing satisfaction,
- Initiate an infrastructure simplification and rationalization project (and consider total or partial outsourcing),
- Guarantee IS security,
- Maintain a technology watch in order to be a source of new ideas.
Some travel to Bordeaux (33) will be required.
Profile required
Ideally, you have a 5-year higher education qualification, such as an engineering school or university specializing in computer science.
You have strong experience as CIO of an SME with strong operational activity (such as industry, supply chain, retail, etc.) or as Director of IT Studies in a similar, slightly larger company. You have already managed IT projects (both in buy and make mode). You have strong direct and cross-functional management skills (management of at least 30 IT resources from different structures, IT ecosystem service providers and project management of other company resources) as well as a good understanding of business issues. You know how to build your IS architecture and the transformation plan to achieve it.
Your leadership and positive, inspiring management skills will enable you to get your teams on board for the major organizational changes that lie ahead, and to get other departments (subsidiary CEOs and functional directors) on board for the new ways of working between business and IT.
