Responsibilities
To support the company's strong growth, you will be tasked with developing innovations or products from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include :
- Achieving objectivesProduct-Quality-Cost-Delivery-Customer satisfaction,
- Lead the project team as a functional manager with an entrepreneurial mindset,
- Plan, execute and ensure timely execution of all activities required by the teams to contribute to the success of the project,
- Identify risks and opportunities and build associated action plans with department managers,
- Communicate regularly on project progress to secure management support,
- Guarantee a design-to-cost approach to product development,
- Consider all life cycles: design, manufacture, installation and recycling,
- Protect the company's interests and image.
You will be required to travel occasionally (France/overseas) to meet with field teams.
Profile required
Ideally, you have a 5-year higher education qualification in mechanical or electronic engineering.
You have at least 8 years' experience in the industrial sector, including at least 2 years in project management, with a specialization in mechanics, electronics or software. Knowledge of program management, in particular matrix organization, planning and risk management, as well as industrial product development within a quality process is required. You are familiar with Pack Office tools, and ideally with FMEA.
A profile as an R&D/development engineer with an appetite for the functional and the potential to manage projects while taking a step back from your role as an expert would also make you an interesting candidate for the position.
Your results orientation, organization, communication and interpersonal skills to link functions will be important to success in this role.
