Responsibilities
As part of the PMO team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the functional and non-functional testing strategy for the Group's transformation projects. In this context, you will work in close collaboration with the business and IT teams and will be expected to :
- Integrate and involve end-users upstream of the process to ensure their buy-in and participation,
- In particular, you are responsible for ensuring that the testing strategy is properly implemented, and for supporting the business line and local subsidiaries in these activities, by producing the necessary reports on the results obtained and any changes proposed to optimize test execution to the required quality,
- You will also provide method and rigor in defining acceptance criteria. Finally, you will support the IT teams in interpreting and qualifying defects and other malfunctions in the functional sense.
Within this framework, in collaboration with the Group and subsidiary business teams as well as the Group IT teams, your responsibilities will be more specifically to :
- Build the test strategy in coordination with the Group and subsidiary business teams, identifying the most critical functionalities and elements in terms of value and business impact,
- Draw up acceptance specifications as soon as the expression of requirements has been finalized, defining the main test cases and acceptance criteria with business users,
- Propose the resources to be involved, define their roles and responsibilities, and the resources and powers needed to carry out the planned activities,
- Draw up test plans with the various phases, share them with the parties concerned and formalize the entry and exit criteria for each functional test phase, in collaboration with the business and IT teams,
- Prepare test tools for the test phases of each project, setting up reporting elements for the business,
- Prepare and orchestrate test phases, according to the defined test plan, helping the business teams to carry out the various test activities; help the business to understand the results obtained,
- Produce comprehensive reports on acceptance activities for both the business and technical teams (functional and non-functional scope), while adapting the level of granularity of the information,
- Help the business to identify and qualify the defects and other malfunctions detected, in comparison with the initial expression of need, and ensure that the technical teams have sufficient information,
- Ensure that blocking malfunctions are followed through to resolution, and that tests are successfully re-executed before the go-ahead is given,
- Make suggestions to optimize test execution and, if necessary, propose scenarios to lead to decisions (taking into account planning, quality and cost in particular),
- Be a key player in obtaining the GoLive and play an active role in its governance,
- After production launch, continue to monitor non-blocking malfunctions until they are resolved and delivered to production,
- Ensure the quality of products delivered.
Profile required
You have a 5-year higher education qualification in IT, such as MIAGE, engineering or business school or equivalent.
You have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Test Manager, enabling you to manage acceptance phases in IT projects, preferably in a banking environment. You have a good understanding of banking products, processes and activities. Knowledge of the microfinance sector, particularly in emerging countries, is a plus. You will be able to draw up a functional testing strategy, manage functional testing work, identify cross-functional impacts, draw up acceptance specifications and produce a full report on acceptance activities. A good knowledge of testing techniques and associated tools is required.
Pedagogical and rigorous, your coordination, management and communication skills will be key to your success in this position.
